THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS

Startup accelerators like Y-Combinator, Tech-Stars, and 500 Startups offer attractive seed investments, nationally recognized mentorship, and a lot of press. The goals of these programs is to get your startup up and running, fast. The downside to these models is that you don’t get time to really let your startup mature. You have to work at the speed of the program and sometimes that’s not what’s best for your company.

Incubators on the other hand, are places in the community where entrepreneurs develop long-term relationships with residents, mentors, and business advisors. Creating local and regional business development channels is also more fluid. The downside to these models is that they devolve into real estate plays, limiting your opportunities to grow beyond the community.

SO WHAT’S DIFFERENT?

The Germinator offers an attractive funding structure, an in-house software development shop called The DevBox, office space in a 53,000 sq ft facility home to over 40 other startup companies, and is part of a welcoming community of entrepreneurs, inventors, and innovators. Applicants who are accepted into the program will be pushed to their limits while having a support network available every step of the way. It’s an experience unlike any other and we encourage you to apply.
